Awards for 2022 Research Challenge

Top of Category Awards (all divisions: Elementary, Junior, Senior)

• 1st Place: $150, medal, certificate
• 2nd Place: $125, medal, certificate
• 3rd Place: $100, medal, certificate
• Honorable Mention (up to 3 per category): medal and certificate

In each competition category, the following prizes will be awarded:

Top Junior Division Awards

• 1st Place (Life Science) & 1st Place (Physical Science) - $250
• 2nd Place (Life Science) & 2nd Place (Physical Science) - $200
• 3rd Place (Life Science) & 3rd Place (Physical Science) - $150

ISEF Finalists - Senior Division
Top 4 overall projects will be named as ISEF finalists and will compete in ISEF 2022 in Atlanta, GA between May 8th and 13th. The top 4 projects overall will be named as ISEF Finalists and will compete at the 2022 Regeneron ISEF in Atlanta, GA from May 8-13. Exciting news! In 2022, PNM & Avangrid have very generously donated $1,000 per ISEF Finalist Project (for team projects, the award will be distributed equally to each team member) to provide our Finalists with funds to support their project/board preparation as well as any uncovered expenses at ISEF (ex: meals not provided by ISEF).

New Mexico Science & Engineering Fair
Top projects in Junior & Senior Division will move on to compete in the NM Science & Engineering Fair April 1st-2nd.
